Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Tablemate Prices mobile application (“the App”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the App.

2. App Description

The App uses augmented reality technology to provide currency conversion by scanning prices through your device’s camera and displaying converted values as an AR overlay.

3. Informational Purpose Only

THE APP IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Currency conversion information is provided as an estimate and should not be relied upon for financial decisions, official currency exchange, or any transactions.

You acknowledge that:

Forex data is wholly indicative in nature and for informational purposes only
Currency rates provided may not reflect current market rates
The App may not detect all prices in all environments or conditions
The App is not a financial instrument or official currency conversion service

4. Augmented Reality Limitations

You acknowledge that the App’s augmented reality functionality has inherent limitations:

AR elements may not align perfectly with real-world objects
Price detection accuracy varies based on text clarity, lighting, angle, and other factors
Performance depends on your device’s camera quality and processing capabilities
Environmental factors (lighting, reflections, obstructions) may affect functionality

5. Safe Usage

You agree to use the App responsibly and safely:

Maintain awareness of your surroundings when using camera features
Do not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in situations requiring full attention
Use the App in appropriate, well-lit environments
You assume all risks associated with using the App in public or unfamiliar environments

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure, or the cost of substitute services arising out of or in connection with these terms or from the use of or inability to use the app, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we specifically disclaim liability for:

Any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on currency conversions provided by the App
Any physical injuries or accidents that may occur while using the App’s camera or AR features
Any inaccuracies in currency conversion or price detection

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All right, title, and interest in and to the App and its content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of us and our licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both India and foreign countries.

You may not copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or transmit any of the material, or distribute or otherwise use the App in ways other than as expressly permitted under these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including if you breach the Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
